How do I know if I need wheel alignment done?
There are three easy ways to tell if your vehicle may need a wheel alignment:
• The steering wheel isn’t straight when the vehicle is driving in a straight line.
• The vehicle wanders or pulls to one side while driving.
• Uneven tyre wear, usually on the inside or outside edges of the tyre.
• If you notice one or more of these conditions, your vehicle will likely require a wheel alignment.
Why do I need wheel alignment doing?
Over time, the wheel alignment on your vehicle can change. This can be caused by impacts, such as hitting potholes, or by work being carried out on your vehicle. It can also result from normal wear to suspension components. As parts wear, they move slightly, which can affect the alignment.
I had it done last year, why does it need doing again?
As the vehicle is used, you may find the alignment gradually shifts and falls outside of tolerance. When the alignment is off, it can cause several issues—primarily increased and uneven tyre wear, which in the long run may lead to more frequent tyre replacements.
