The history of Fresh Motors and our new home.

From humble beginnings in 2015 to premises relocations, new showroom and garage services development, this is how we got here.

Fresh Motors

We are proud of our journey and are delighted to share with you the key business milestones which underpin our company.

2015–2017:
Thetford Road Business Park

Founded in 2015 by Jacob Freshwater whilst studying a degree in Accounting and Management at University of East Anglia (UEA). Fresh Motors began selling small hatchback vehicles from Thetford Road Business Park in Watton, operating an online only model. The company quickly began to grow with help of brother Isaac Freshwater due to their unique modern approach to business and customer service, the origins of the Fresh® brand was born. In 2017 Fresh Motors was highly commended by AutoTrader for Business Transformation of the year.

2018–2020:
Neaton Business Park

In 2018 Fresh Motors had outgrown its first premises and relocated to a large warehouse building at Neaton Business Park, Watton with indoor showroom, stocking a wide variety of vehicles including vans, 4x4s and prestige vehicles. This transition facilitated recruitment of some great people, through united dedication and support of our wonderful customers. Jacob was recognised as a Motor Trade Rising Star by Car Dealer Magazine and Auto Trader during the period to 2019. Fresh Motors also received awards for its customer service and client focus recognising the fantastic work of the team.

2021–Present:
Fresh Motors (formerly Drome Garage)

In 2020 the business acquired Drome Garage, a former Kia franchise dealership site and petrol station in Watton, beginning large development project rejuvenating the building, forecourt and facilities with many additions including a purpose built valet bay, turntable and large workshop. The new Fresh Motors site was finished in 2021, diversifying to now also offer garage services, MOT and repairs.
