How long should my clutch last?
This really depends on how the vehicle is driven and the type of use it gets. For example, a small Focus doing mostly motorway miles may reach 20,000 miles on one clutch, whereas a vehicle towing a heavy trailer around town will wear its clutch much faster. If the driver is gentle with the clutch pedal, there is no reason an average clutch can’t last 80,000–100,000 miles. If you would like your clutch checked, please get in touch with our friendly service team, who will be more than happy to assist.
How much is it to replace my clutch?
We are more than happy to provide a specific price for replacing your clutch, but costs vary from vehicle to vehicle, so we cannot publish a set price. Generally, the clutch kit itself is reasonably priced, while the more expensive part is the flywheel. The flywheel isn’t always needed, but it often is.
