Can I part exchange (PX) my current car?
Absolutely, we take pretty much anything in PX. We will give you a fair, true market valuation based on live industry data and your vehicle’s condition.
Can I try selling my current car privately instead of part exchanging?
Absolutely, we are really flexible. You will often get a bit more selling privately, but we know the hassle that can come with it. A good option is to leave a deposit on the car you want, give yourself 2 to 3 weeks before collection, and try selling your car privately in the meantime. If it sells for more than the PX price, call us and we will remove the PX and you simply pay the full balance. If it does not sell, or you get fed up, just PX it as planned, that way you do not get stuck with two cars and you still get the car you want.
How do you value my part exchange, what price will I be given?
We will always give the correct trade value using a few different data sources, commonly Auto Trader and CAP, then adjust based on condition, service history, and MOT length. The more accurate information you can provide, the more accurate the valuation will be.
Can I pay all in cash?
Because of UK money laundering laws, we cannot accept large amounts of cash without evidence of the source of funds. For that reason we accept up to £1,000 in cash, and there is a 2% surcharge on the cash amount to cover handling fees. Bank transfer is the easiest option.
When do I pay for the vehicle?
We recommend paying 48 hours before collection or delivery to avoid delays if your bank holds funds, but you can pay whenever suits you. Some customers pay straight away, others prefer paying on handover day, and that is fine with us. Payment is by bank transfer, our details are on the order form, and we ask you to use the registration number as the reference.
